WHAT IS McTIMONEY CHIROPRACTIC?
Developed by John McTimoney over 30 years ago, the McTimoney method is recognised as being a gentle, precise, whole body approach to chiropractic care. The gentle nature of this method makes it suitable for people of all ages and stages of life.
McTimoney chiropractors gently adjust the bones of your body to improve skeletal alignment. In doing so, they help your joints, muscles and nervous system work more efficiently, relieving pain and discomfort and increasing your mobility.
As chiropractors, we strive for optimal health by treating your whole body, not just the area where you feel pain. The McTimoney technique uses quick, gentle and accurate adjustments, which ensure you experience maximum comfort.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CHIROPRACTIC?
Chiropractic is proven to be effective in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. It is commonly regarded as a valuable treatment for mechanical back or neck pain (as opposed to pain following injury), and sciatica, but is also effective in providing relief from shoulder and rotator cuff disorders, headaches arising from the neck and the prevention of migraine.
Chiropractic treatment supports those maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Chiropractors can help with minor sports injuries and tensions, and the treatment is also good for those who suffer from muscular tension and an inability to relax. Chiropractic is beneficial for people experiencing pain and stiffness in their joints, and may be used to complement the core treatment of hip and knee pain from osteoarthritis, in conjunction with exercise.
We are all members of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association and are fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council, which regulates all chiropractors in the United Kingdom. Click GCC to view the register.
