Clive Taylor
I initially qualified as an acupuncturist in 1983 from the College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in Leamington Spa. After moving to Cardiff in 1983, I began training in McTimoney Chiropractic and qualified as a chiropractor in 1987 from the original McTimoney school in Oxford. I was a clinic tutor at the McTimoney Chiropractic College from 1990 to 2001.
Over the years my ongoing interest in bodywork has led me to train in Zero Balancing from 1993 and in Deep Massage from 1998. My bodywork treatments today are a fusion of McTimoney, Zero Balancing and Deep Massage to suit the individual needs of the client.
Alice Berry
I graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Chiropractic from the McTimoney Chiropractic College in 2004. I relocated to Cardiff in 2005 and have been practicing since then in clinics in both Cardiff and Penarth. I have a keen interest in chiropractic research and am due to start some post-graduate training in this subject later on this year.
Shanee Taylor
I studied with John McTimoney and qualified in McTimoney Chiropractic in 1981. I have been in full-time practice ever since. In 1983 I moved to Cardiff and set up the first McTimoney Chiropractic Clinic in Wales. I also taught at the McTimoney Chiropractic College in Oxford in its early days.
Other trainings which I incorporate into my practice include Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Zero Balancing, Process Acupressure and Deep Massage. My main focus still remains McTimoney Chiropractic, using my other skills where appropriate in conjunction with it.
Barney and Maureen O'Donnell
Penarth Chiropractic Clinic was established in 1991 and has served the Penarth, Barry and Cardiff communities since then.
Our clinic has 2 chiropractors - Barney and Maureen O'Donnell.
We are registered with the General Chiropractic Council, are members of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association and Fellows of the College Of Chiropractors.
We both support excellence in chiropractic education and practice, and have been involved in chiropractic clinical teaching and examination in the past at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic.
Over the years in our practice we have developed special interests:
Maureen in working with children and Barney with sports injuries.Of course, we also enjoy working with the whole spectrum of musculo-skeletal problems that bring people to our clinic.
We keep our knowledge base and skills updated in these and general areas of chiropractic practice by engaging in regular continuous professional development throughout the year.
Both of us subscribe to a wholistic view of health and well being and practice chiropractic to this end. We are also qualified and experienced in the practice of remedial and sports massage, and where appropriate, this compliments our work as
Mc Timoney chiropractors.
